How did you get into airfreight/logistics?

It was a combination of curiosity, opportunity, and a deep interest in global trade. e-commerce was expanding rapidly, and I saw the need for better logistics solutions to support international growth. That led me to focus on cross-border movement, fulfillment, and tech solutions.

What quote has most resonated with you?

“If we doubt our power, we only empower our doubts.” – Smudo.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Surround yourself with people who challenge and inspire you. Growth happens when you’re willing to step out of your comfort zone.

What is the most adventurous thing you have ever done?

A single body boarding rafting trip in the Norwegian Mountains. I have never felt more alive.

If you could have dinner with any three people, living or dead, who would it be and why?

Ed Sheeran – I think he would really be a cool person to hang around with.

Richard Branson – To learn about his approach to leadership and innovation.

My grandmother – I couldn’t be there when she died but I wanted to say so much to her.

What’s something we wouldn’t know about you from your CV?

I have a huge passion for cars. If I had not ended up in logistics, I would have done anything involving automotives.

Sailing—there’s something fascinating about it.

If you had not pursued a career in airfreight, what other field would you have liked to go into?

Something around cars, probably in the racing scene.

The ability to be in multiple places at once—would be helpful given my travel schedule!

What’s your proudest moment and your biggest regret?

Proudest moment in business: Seeing the success of our first event with NeX, especially the moment I realised that everyone showed up because they believed in us.

Proudest moment in private life: Holding my kids hands for the first time.

Biggest regret: Not taking more time to reflect in my 20’s and early 30’s. It cost me a lot of friendship and family.

If there was a movie made about your life, who would you like to see play the lead role?

That is a hard one: Probably Bruce Willis.

Looking back over your career, what would your message be to someone considering a career in logistics?

Logistics is the backbone of global trade. If you’re ready for a fast-paced, ever-changing industry that rewards problem-solving and resilience, go for it. But be ready for it, there is no industry like it and you probably end up having at least one heart attack.

How do you motivate your team?

By fostering a shared vision, encouraging innovation, and recognising achievements—people perform their best when they feel valued and are business partners.

My phone—it’s my office, communication hub, and travel guide all in one.

Worst: Cheap running shorts that left me in trouble during a long run…
